Interactive Assembly at Glen Crest Celebrates Success of PBIS

For nine years Glen Crest Middle School has been a model for PBIS (Positive
Behavior Intervention Strategy).  The atmosphere and day to day experience at the middle school has flourished because of this behavior system.  To reward the student body for their positive behavior the faculty and staff at Glen Crest produced an assembly that entertained the entire student body as they saw their teachers and staff in a completely different light.  The theme for the afternoon was taken from the Hunger Games series but renamed Spartan Games in honor of Glen Crest’s mascot.  Competitive games between grade levels, Step Club performance, announcements of winning grade level for the Red Cross Raffle, recognition of Sports Teams DMVA conference championships, were all included in this program. Friday, February 14 from 1:30 to 2:45 PM Glen Crest rocked.
