Glen Crest Men Faculty Face Off Against 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team

    Every year at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Avenue in Glen Ellyn, the men teachers challenge the 8th grade boys team to a hotly contested game and the women faculty take on the 8th grade girls’ team.  The high point of the evening is the men and boys game because on Friday, January 31, 2014 the 8th grade boys who have posted a good record in the DMVA Conference have a good chance of winning the game.  Mark the calendar, Friday, Jan. 31, 6:00 PM Glen Crest opens the doors to one of the major events of 2014.  The 8th grade girls’ basketball team takes on the women faculty team at 6:30 PM and at 7:30 PM, the long anticipated Men Faculty vs. the 8th grade boys’ team takes the floor. 
     The Glen Crest Pep Band will lead the sellout crowd through pep songs and the Glen Crest Cheerleading squads will provide the half time show.  The Parent Teacher Council furnishes the refreshments.  Tickets will be sold at the door and students can purchase them during the school day as well.  For information call the Glen Crest office at 630-469-5220.
