Glen Crest Cheerleaders Win Trophy at JMS Cheer Competition

On Saturday, February 1, the Glen Crest Middle School Cheerleaders, coaches and parents made their way carefully to Jackson Middle School in Villa Park because of the snowy weather.  They joined several  other middle schools in DuPage County for the JMS Cheerleader  Competition.  Grand prize was a giant trophy the girls brought back to Glen Crest and put on display in the main office at the middle school.  The cheerleaders include girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  They perform at all the home interscholastic games at the middle school.  The coaches for this talented team are fifth grade teachers Amanda Lippman from Westfield School and Stephanie Jacobs-Roberts from Park View School.
