Detroit Night at Brauer House on Saturday May 24

Detroit rockers Dead in 5 bring a night of hard hitting music and mayhem from the Motor City to Brauerhouse (1000 N. Rohlwing, Lombard, IL Ph: 630–495-2141) on Saturday May 24, 2014,   “Detroit Night” features live music by Dead in 5, acclaimed progressive rockers Imminent Sonic Destruction, and adrenaline pumping grindcore by 6 Prong Paw. Adam Arcana sideshow (as seen on “America’s Got Talent”) will also be on hand to perform jaw dropping feats in addition to MC Aimee List, hosting Detroit trivia – and giving away cool prizes from the D!

Michigan beers will be on special all night long, and anyone wearing a Michigan themed t-shirt will receive $1 off admission. Doors are at 9 pm, cover is just $7 and ages 18 and over are welcome to attend.

“We’re looking forward to bringing a great night of rock and roll to the Brauerhouse. There’s so much talent in Detroit – and this is an opportunity to showcase the best in hard rock – and sideshow entertainment,” said Dead in 5’s lead singer Robert Libres.

Evoking a sonic mash up of Clutch, Soundgarden, White Zombie and Led Zeppelin, Dead in 5’s dirty outlaw rock makes fans raise their fists in salute to their musical juggernaut.  It’s “Sons of Anarchy” meets “Fight Club” set in the post apocalyptic “Mad Max” environment of Detroit Rock City.

Since forming in late 2012, Dead in 5 has become an in-demand live act headlining top venues and festivals throughout the Midwest, in addition to support slots for nationalacts Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Sevendust, and Pop Evil.  The band’s music is featured in the new movie “Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies” (Troma Entertainment) starring WWE legends “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Matt Hardy and Shane “The Franchise” Douglas.

Dead in 5 is currently touring in support of their sophomore CD “Wreck Your World,” now available on Amazon, Itunes and CDbaby.com
