A Little Sweat and a Big Check

Members of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lombard gave up a beautiful Saturday on June 1 to work hard at DuPage Habitat For Humanity's build site at Glen Ellyn's Prairie Green.  The 10-person crew performed a wide variety of tasks such as framing, dry-walling, cleaning, painting, tilling earth, and laying sod. The group also presented a Habitat representative with a $1,000 check, money raised via bake sales and individual contributions from church members.
