St. Francis High School Students Attend Disney Performing Arts Workshop

In February, 121 students from St. Francis High School’s band, choir and theatre programs traveled to Orlando, Florida to attend the Disney Performing Arts Workshop hosted and run by Disney professionals.

The students, accompanied by 10 faculty chaperones, enjoyed working with musicians and actors in their respective fields during hands-on, creative sessions.  Highlighting their experiences were the opportunities for the St. Francis Music Ensemble and the St. Francis Choir to perform on the Waterside Stage in Downtown Disney, and for the St. Francis Marching Band to march down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
