Adoptable Pet of the Week: Madison!

Madison, a brindle female pit bull, is looking for her forever home.

Information provided by Wheaton Animal Hospital, Glen Ellyn.

Meet Madison, a 10-month-old brindle female pit bull. Madison snores a little—not enough to keep her housemates awake, but enough to remind them how cute she is. She is a beautiful, brindle female pit bull, microchipped, spayed and current on all her vaccinations.

Madison knows some basic commands, such as heel, sit, down and come, although she needs some practice with the last one. She is a very quick learner and eager to please. She likes going out for walks and meeting new people. If you stop to talk to someone, she will sit nicely or lay down until you are finished. She loves playing with other dogs and finds cats interesting.

Her temperament is very steady, and she might enjoy being a therapy dog. She takes treats gently and knows how to slow down around kids and small dogs. She enjoys her toys, chew bones and carrots for treats. At meal time, she sits at her bowl and waits for it to be filled.

She likes doggie and people beds a lot, and car rides. She'll hang her head out the window and take in all the sights. When you get out of the car, she will watch where you go and wait until you return, and possibly take a nap for awhile.

Madison is looking for a forever family she can follow around and love. She loves to give kisses.
