Park District Registration Deadline Today

Park District registration forms due: The Glen Ellyn Park District’s deadline for residents to submit registration forms for park district programs to be entered into the resident lottery is today. Forms are entered into the computer and become part of the park district’s lottery procedure, according to the Glen Ellyn Park District.

The lottery then randomly selects registrants to be placed in its programs. If a class is already filled, the registrant is put on a waiting list.

Kids improv, parents benefit: ImprovU will be holding a class tonight at 5 p.m. at Improv Emporium for children in grades 1 through 4. During the program, children will learn improvisational skills, playing games that teach positive response, scene building, character development and idea acceptance.

The program gives parents some time to run errands or get dinner prepared, while kids have structured social interaction.
