Last Chance to Enter Glen Ellyn's Bi-Annual Photo Contest

Whether you think you have photographic skills or not, why not take a chance and enter the Village of Glen Ellyn’s Spring 2013 Photography Contest. Today, July 31, is the deadline to submit photos for consideration.

No photography background is required. The only requirement for the contest that you be a residents or a student who attends school in Glen Ellyn.

The contest is held twice a year. Photos are chosen by a panel of judges and the photos appear in various village publications.

According to the village: The photos will be judged on subject, composition, and how photographers capture the "Spirit of Glen Ellyn." The deadline for submissions is July 31. Each photographer can submit up to 5 photos. There are two categories, Child/Teen (ages 17 and under) and Adult (ages 18 and older). Ten photos in the adult category, and 5 in the child/teen category will be selected for the Spring 2013 contest.
