Golden Eagles Celebrate 50th; Players Get in Free at Glenbard South Games

Glenbard South and the Golden Eagles continue a Friday Night Lights tradition.

Membership has its benefits, particularly for members of the Glen Ellyn Golden Eagles tackle football league. Players wearing their game jerseys will be admitted for free to the four Glenbard South football games this season, according to the Golden Eagles.

“We’re supporting the Eagles’ 50th anniversary and their rich contributions to South and the community with this effort,” said Glenbard South’s head varsity football coach Jeremy Cordell.

The admit free program is part of the Friday Night Lights tradition at Glenbard South High School, according to a news release.
