Winter Choral Concert Planned for Glen Crest Choirs

Thursday, December 13, Glen Crest Middle School Choirs perform their Winter Concert at the middle scool Spartan gymnasium. The concert begins at 7:00 P.M. with the 6th grade girls’ chorus, the 7th/8th grade girls’ chorus and the boys’ chorus included in the evening’s program. Glen Crest is located at 725 Sheehan Avenue in Glen Ellyn. All choruses are under the direction of Glen Crest music teacher, Paul Ropp. He is proud to announce that, “Saturday, November 17, members of the Glen Crest Chorus will sing “Old Time Rock and Roll,” at the All-State Arena prior to a Chicaago Wolves hockey game.” Another appearance by the choruses at Glen Crest will be on Friday, December 14 when all the music organizations come together to present an all school assembly for the students at the middle school. Glen Crest Middle School, opened in 1962, is District 89's only middle school. With active and involved students and parents, Glen Crest prepares its graduates for life in high school and beyond.
