Dr. Darlene Ruscitti, Regional Superintendent of Schools for DuPage County launched an initiative in 2011 to understand and close the persistent achievement gaps that exist between minority students and their peers. She will present her findings and relate the steps she has initiated to address achievement gaps in DuPage County. This program highlights AAUW’s interest in education and its honor of diversity in our schools.
