We’re firing up the grill for a special night of live music, beer, wine, mini golf & best of all, sliders!
Bring your family, friends and neighbors to sample some of the greatest burgers around. The following local restaurants are competing to see who cooks the best slider:
- Glen Prairie
- Meatheads
- North Side Sports & Bar & Grill
- Skuddlebutts Pizza and Catering
- Tap House Grill
Taste ‘em all & tell us which local restaurant earns the title Summer Slider Champion of 2012! Only one restaurant will take home the trophy.
It’s a night of eatin’ and competin’ with you as the judge.
The cost is only $5 per person to sample all sliders. Wine, beer, soft drinks and mini golf will be available at the clubhouse at an additional cost.
Net proceeds will benefit the Glen Ellyn Park District Scholarship Fund. The fund helps local children participate in recreation programs they would otherwise be unable to due to financial restraints.

More About Maryknoll Park
Maryknoll Park could be the ultimate in community parks. Sitting on 25 acres, Maryknoll has everything to offer. This park's fabulous resume boasts a miniature golf course, platform tennis, a splash park, and an adventure park.
The Splash Park includes 12 spray pieces, including a water tower, rising flag and a wet saloon. The Adventure Park features attractions not normally seen in regular parks, such as a 75-foot Berliner cable ride.
Maryknoll also has bocce ball, horseshoes, picnic shelter, sculpture park, prairie restoration area, concessions and an outdoor stage and amphitheater.
