Westminster School, located within First Presbyterian Church in Glen Ellyn, will host a Kindergarten Readiness panel discussion on Monday, Jan. 28 at 7:00 PM. Kindergarten teachers from public and private schools in Glen Ellyn and Wheaton will provide insight into preparing students for the transition from preschool to Kindergarten. Topics to be discussed include expectations for children, understanding a typical school day, curriculum, and each school’s enrollment process. RSVP to westminster@firstpresge.org or 630.469.2090. Westminster Preschool at First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn
Founded in 1956 as a ministry outreach of First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn, Westminster Preschool offers two-, three- and four-day programs for children ages 2 1/2 through kindergarten. The school's mission is to provide a Christian environment for age-appropriate education that balances "free-play" and structured learning. In addition to building a strong foundation for reading and math, the school offers music programs for all ages and gym classes for children ages 4 years old and older. Westminster welcomes children of all faiths and is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
