Tuesday, January 8, at 1:00 P.M., the Glen Ellyn Woman’s Club meets in the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, to work on individual craft projects that, when completed, will be given to the DuPage Convalescent Home in Wheaton as winter gifts for the residents.  Janet Archer, Literature and Fine Arts Chairman, developed the craft item that each guest or member present at the meetiing will make for this project.  It is a yearly event that everyone looks forward to because of the chance to visit and interact while working on an item that will give pleasure to the person who receives it.  Anyone who would like to come as a guest should call 630-469-6372 to make a reservation so the event planner will have enough material available for extra visitors.
