Glen Ellyn, IL -- The Glen Ellyn Park District invites residents of all ages to join in a week-long celebration of the Olympics by participating in a variety of fun activities.

From June 20 through June 25, everyone can demonstrate their skills in several events designed for athletes of all ages and abilities.

“We want everyone to come out and have a good time,” Mary Defiglia, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation, said. “It’s a celebration of community pride and commitment to fitness. Plus, everyone has the chance win a gold, silver or bronze medal.”

All participants must possess a “Passport to the Olympics” to compete. Passports will be stamped each time an activity is completed. The park district will award gold, silver and bronze medals based on the number of activities completed.
