 itizen of the Year\n\n&nbsp\;\nTo be eligible\, the individual or organi
 zation must have been active in the community and have worked on or deve
 loped specific projects to benefit Glen Ellyn.&nbsp\; Also\, the nominee
  would have volunteered time\, energy\, and devotion to significantly im
 proving the quality of life in Glen Ellyn.\n&nbsp\;\nSelections of Outst
 anding Firefighter\, Police Office and Educator will also be presented a
 t the Awards ceremony on Saturday\, March 10\, 2012.\n&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;T
 he Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce and the Village Fair Committee have jo
 ined together to present the Community Awards again this year.&nbsp\; Th
 ese awards have been presented since 1963 to recognize those individuals
  and organizations who have provided outstanding contributions to our co
 mmunity\,&rdquo\; said Mike Formento\, Executive Director\, Chamber of C
 ommerce\n&nbsp\;\nThe Community Awards Breakfast will be held on Saturda
 y  March 10\, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza.&nbsp\; The awards program begins
  at 7:30  a.m. and will conclude promptly at 9:00 a.m.&nbsp\; Tickets ar
 e available from the Chamber of Commerce for $22 per person or $160 for 
 a table of 8 people. The public is invited\; all attendees must purchase
  tickets.\n&nbsp\;\nAll nominations and reservations for the Community A
