Cantigny Summer Symphony Series
Cantigny Park will host three Saturday evening symphony concerts this summer beginning with the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra on June 23. The DuPage Symphony Orchestra will perform on July 14, followed by the West Suburban Symphony on July 28.
These themed musical events take place on the lawn outside the First Division Museum. A large tent covers the orchestra stage but the audience is under the stars and towering oaks. Concert guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and picnic baskets are welcome.

Saturday, June 23, 8 pm
“Salute to Broadway!”
Enjoy an entertaining musical tour featuring popular selections from Liberty Bell, Oklahoma!, My Fair Lady, Les Misérables and Carousel. Listen for some patriotic favorites, too! Music Director Stephen Alltop will conduct.
DuPage Symphony Orchestra
Saturday, July 14, 8 pm “Symphonic Swing!”
Celebrate the legendary big bands of the 1930s and 40s and the era of American Jazz! Medley tributes to Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael will be showcased, along with a special performance of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Music Director Barbara Schubert will conduct.
West Suburban Symphony Orchestra
Saturday, July 28, 8 pm “Heroes”
Maestro Peter Lipari will conduct a selection of thrilling music inspired by heroes, both real and legendary: American soldiers, astronauts and Olympians, plus Flash Gordon, the Three Musketeers, Superman, Rocky Balboa, Harry Potter, James Bond, Captain Kirk and Indiana Jones!
Concert tickets are $12 in advance or $18 the day of show. Cantigny Plus members pay $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Children under 8 will be admitted free, and parking is complimentary for ticket holders.
