LISLE, IL. – The Bulls/Sox Academy announced today that it will be hosting a Chicago White Sox High School Try-out Prep Club at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center located at 800 Saint Charles Road in Glen Ellyn.
You’ve thought about all you need to do to get ready for your high school tryouts, and this class will get it done. You will learn every aspect of the game from hitting and fielding to pitching and game strategy. It is never too late to get a leg up on the competition and this class, led by top Academy instructors, is the place to be. Limited space so sign up quickly.
The Prep Club will start on Tuesday, February 5th and will run until February 26th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Enrollment is limited and is open to boys and girls, fourteen to eighteen. The cost is only $99.00 per athlete.
The Bulls/Sox Academy opened in 2001 in Lisle, Illinois and runs extensive training programs for boys and girls from beginner to professional. More About Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center
Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center is an 88,000 square-foot
facility that houses a 40-yard by 60-yard turf field for a variety of sports, two 30-foot climbing walls, three high-school-size basketball courts, four batting cages run by the White Sox Training Academy, multi-purpose rooms for fitness classes, private and group lessons, sports leagues and an 8,000 square fitness center that features treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes including recumbent, upright and hybrid, strength machines, tread climbers, free weights, personal televisions, personal trainers, fitness classes, drop-in child care for members, core conditioning and locker rooms. All pieces of equipment have Nike+ workout tracking software and are compatible with iPod Nano, second generation iPod Touch and IPhone 3GS.
