Water Main Break Causes Partial Geneva Road Closure Wednesday
A small section of the road is expected to be closed from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A water main break at in the 500 block of Geneva Road has caused a partial closure of the road to traffic, according to the village.
The main break took place at 529 Geneva Road. As a result, the outside east bound curb lane of Geneva Road is closed to traffic starting just east of Highland Avenue diverting traffic around the work zone for 300 feet.
The time of lane closure and water service disruption is estimated to be limited to 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Village of Glen Ellyn.
