Village to Review Potential Subdivision Development

Residents are invited to attend a plan commission meeting to hear more information about the potential development of 23 single-family homes.

Residents can review plans for a new subdivision at Thursday's plan commission meeting.

Commissioners will review the pre-application for the proposed nine-acre subdivision comprised of 23 new single-family homes that would be located at 760 Sheehan Ave., the area just north of Glen Crest Middle School.

Thursday's 7:30 p.m. meeting will be held in the Galligan Board Room at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street.

Because we need more over-priced houses in this economy? Yeah, that totally sounds like a great idea!

The price will be determined by the market, there is no such thing as "overpriced" since no buyer is forced to buy at a price that is unappealing.

Spare me, Rich !

Wheaton and Glen Ellyn are BOTH chock full of overpriced real estate - that's why the markets in BOTH 'burbs are DEAD.

Good luck! Our building industry needs a boost and there are buyers. Glen Ellyn was just rated the third most desirable community to live in. Your home value will hold for what it's really worth. The housing market was way overpriced during the boom years and it's now becoming more realistic.
