The study is being funded by a $50,000 grant from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.

It’s just one of many projects the Village is undertaking to implement some of the recommendations in Glen Ellyn’s 2009 Downtown Strategic Plan. The proposed plan is the product of input received from the steering committee as well as a visual preference survey, two online questionnaires and a public open house.

The proposed study can be found on the project website which can be reached through the Village’s homepage at www.glenellyn.org.

The Village Board will meet Tuesday, May 28 at the Glen Ellyn Civic Center.
