Bridge Construction to Close Taylor Street Underpass
Work on the Taylor Street underpass is expected to begin Sept. 17 and continue through November.

Drivers who regularly use the Taylor Street underpass will need to find another way to get around for the next few months.
The underpass will be closed starting Sept. 17 as Union Pacific begins work on the bridge structure, according to the Village of Glen Ellyn.
The construction work is expected to run from Sept. 17 through Nov. 9, said Kristin Schrader, assistant to the village manager.
Union Pacific has not provided the village with too much information at this point, but as more information becomes available the village will continue to provide updates, she said.
