The Western DuPage Special Recreation District is hosting a free swim night Sunday for families of children with special needs.

The Turtle Splash Bash swim night is being held at the Turtle Splash Water Park in West Chicago.

The water park will be open at a special time for special needs families, including parents, siblings and family members, according to the district. Along with a relaxing night of swimming, attendees may enjoy water games, music and ice cream. 

District families or any family with special needs registering through WDSRA are invited. Attendees do not need to be West Chicago residents to participate.

The event is being held at Turtle Splash Water Park, Sunday from 7-9 p.m. The park is located at 129 W. National St., West Chicago
