The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for DuPage County until 4:45 p.m. Thursday, July 5.
At 3:36 p.m., radar indicates a severe thunderstorm capable of producing hail the size of ping-pong balls and winds more than 60 mph. The storm was located near Wheeling and is moving south at 15 mph.
