The Village of Glen Ellyn is alerting drivers to schedule railroad crossing repairs expected to take place in downtown Glen Ellyn on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Weather permitting Union Pacific will be performing maintenance at the Main Street train crossing. If the weather is an issue, the work will be rescheduled for Feb. 7, the village said.

Maintenance will last only one day and will occur during non-rush hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Detour signs will be displayed in advance of the closure to alert drivers, the village said.
