Police Blotter: Statue Broken, iPhone Stolen, Public Intoxication
Glen Ellyn Police Department reports, Nov. 18-24
FRIDAY, NOV. 23
Robert L. Schnable, 52, of 703 Liberty Ave. in Wheaton (DuPage PADS), was arrested at 6:59 p.m. at 631 Roosevelt Road, Circle K, Glen Ellyn police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
Someone broke parts of a decorative yard statue at a home in the 700 block of Lenox Road, police said. The incident took place between 1:30 p.m. Nov. 22 and 9 a.m. Nov. 23. There was estimated value for the statue.
THURSDAY, NOV. 22
- Eric T. Putrim, 24, of the 2300 block of South Seventh Avenue, North Riverside, was arrested at 3:35 a.m. in the 200 block of Scott Avenue, police said. He was charged on an in-state warrant and with public intoxication.
- Jordan C. Mendralla, 22, of the 200 block of West Ethel Avenue, Lombard was arrested at 3:35 a.m. in the 200 block of Scott Avenue, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
- John C. Lamb, 23, of the 900 block of La Londe Avenue, Lombard, was arrested at 3:35 a.m. in the 200 block of Scott Avenue, police said. He was charged with public intoxication.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21
Steven D. Kelly, 46, of the 1700 block of East Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, was arrested at 10:33 a.m. at Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road, police said. He was charged with battery.
John R. Veltri, 27, of the 26W000 block of Hazel Lane, Wheaton, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. in the first block of Briar Street, police said. He was charged with unlawful use of intoxicating compounds and possession of drug paraphernalia.
It was reported at 1:52 p.m. that someone painted graffiti on a ComEd junction box at Harding and Nicoll Way, according to police reports. The utility company was notified to have the graffiti removed.
MONDAY, NOV. 19
Jennifer C. Evrard, 26, of the 22W200 block of Glen Park Road, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. at Park Boulevard and Wilson Avenue, police said. She was charged with possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis, possession of drug equipment and speeding.
SUNDAY, NOV. 18
Someone entered Radio Shack and stole an Apple iPhone 5, according to police. The incident was reported at 5:09 p.m. The retail value of the phone was $699.
