Police Blotter: Possession, Stolen Laptop, Criminal Damage

Glen Ellyn Police Department reports, Nov. 4-11

 

SUNDAY, NOV. 11

Disorderly conduct

Brandon J. O’Neal, 20, of the 700 block of Forest Avenue, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. in the 700 block of Forest Avenue, Glen Ellyn Police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct.

FRIDAY, NOV. 9

Suspended license

Adriana Martinez, 38, of the 1100 block of Leicester Court, Wheaton, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. at Park Boulevard and Raintree Drive, police said. She was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding in a school zone.

THURSDAY, NOV. 8

Improper registration

Kent T. Beery, 48, of the 400 block of Turf Lane, Wheaton, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Park Boulevard, police said. He was charged with driving an uninsured vehicle, driving with a suspended license and improper use of a registration - forged or counterfeited.

Vehicle burglary

A vehicle had its window shattered and items stolen from inside while it was parked at Healthtrack, 875 Roosevelt Road, police said. The incident took place between 6:20 and 7:25 p.m. A laptop and purse were stolen from inside the vehicle.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7

Public indecency

Christopher Shukin, 22, of the 400 block of Hill Avenue was arrested at 2:34 a.m. at Main Street and Hill Avenue, police said. He was charged with public indecency.

MONDAY, NOV. 5

Possession

Katharine P. Grilli, 18, of the 3000 block of Mayfair Avenue, Westchester, was arrested at 8:48 a.m. at Park Boulevard and Sheehan Avenue, police said. She was charged possession of drug equipment, possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis and speeding in a school zone.

Uninsured

Cristina Martinez, 26, of the 200 block of North President Street, Wheaton, was arrested at 11:59 p.m. at Roosevelt and Finley roads, police said. She was charged with driving without a license and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Criminal damage

  • Someone broke a sign for the Prairie Path Park. Police said the damage was reported at 7:57 a.m.
  • Three village of Glen Ellyn light fixtures were broken in the 400 block of Main Street, police reported. The incident was reported at 1 p.m.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

Vehicle burglary

Police said a vehicle in the 100 block of Valley Drive was burglarized between 10 and 11 p.m. Someone broke into the vehicle while it was parked in a driveway. The owner thought the vehicle was locked. Several items were stolen from inside the vehicle including $10, an iPod classic and other miscellaneous items.
