What do you think of the new signage in downtown Glen Ellyn?

The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn unveiled the new banners and kiosk last Wednesday. The new slogan for the central business district is reflected on some of the 300 banners which state:

"Glen Ellyn a downtown to treasure." 

The signs were made possible by an anonymous donor and Carol White, executive director of the Downtown Alliance said the "refreshed look" is designed to make Glen Ellyn a dining and shopping destination spot.

If you can believe it, not one sign was damaged during Sunday's severe thunderstorm that left nearly 16,400 Glen Ellyn residents without power.
