Locals Raise $10,000 for Pediatric Stroke Survivors

This weekend's 5K event helped benefit children like Glen Ellyn's Johnny Schwan.

More than 100 people came out to participate in the first-ever Glen Ellyn P.S.S. We Love You! 5K Run/Walk.

The numbers are in and the event raised just over $10,000. That money will go to Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association to help children like who suffered a stroke in utero.
