Holiday Lights Photo Contest
Our cold little village looks warm and cozy at night when the lights shine bright. Check out our photos of holiday light displays in town and add your own.
There's something about the holiday season that just makes winter seem alright. Sure, we live in the Midwest, so you're still going to have to scrape the ice off your windows and dig your car out occasionally. You're still going to have to endure long walks to the train in the bitingly cold wind. Yes, you will see a tiny increase in your gas bills.
But for a lot of folks, holiday lights make the cold nights seem warm and festive. They don't warm your fingers or toes, but they can warm your soul. Check out our photos of holiday light displays in Glen Ellyn this year. Pick your favorites, leave a comment and add your own.
It's OK that it gets dark at 4:30 p.m. when you've got this to look at all night.
