Homecoming Photo Gallery: Glenbard West Football Remains Unbeaten
The Hilltoppers remain alone on top of the West Suburban Silver Conference after a 43-0 blowout over Addison Trail. Check out our photos from the game and share your own.
The folks at Glenbard West sure know how to throw a homecoming party. When the touchdown they scored on the first play of the game was called back for a penalty, they settled down and scored a touchdown on the third play of the game instead.
Offensively and defensively, the Hilltoppers could do no wrong this day, beating Addison Trail in a non-conference game, 43-0, to move to 7-0 overall.
Next up for Glenbard West is a trip to the winless York Dukes at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

Poor Coach Hetlet. Misidentified twice as a guy old enough to almost be his father.

If GBW is going to win by such a huge margin I hope that means EVERY boy on the team got a couple of minutes on the field! I'd rather win by half that score and know every last player played!!!!

Yes, the substitutions were early and often with most starters done for the day in the second quarter. If the starters had stayed in the whole game, the score would have been really ugly. Tough to see Addison Trail having a hard time. Last season AT posted a terrific record and battled Glenbard to a 0-0 halftime score before losing 14-0.

Your use of the word EVERY makes it seem like you have a bone to pick. Mr Clauss is correct that the starters were pulled early. GW coaches understand the time committement that these boys put in and do their best to have them get the reward of getting on the field, especially Duchon!!! And the use of "I'd" in your statement gives the impression that you put in all the hours we do and care only about winning.
