Glenbard South Principal, Assistant Principal to Resign
Terri Hanrahan and Loukia Mastrodimos leave top positions at Glenbard South High School for new roles in District 87 and District 99.
Glenbard South High School will have new leadership next year as Principal Terri Hanrahan and Assistant Principal Loukia Mastrodimos move on to different roles.
Hanrahan's and Mastrodimos' resignations from their current positions in Glenbard District 87 will be effective June 30, according to the District 87 personnel report for the March 4 board meeting.
Hanrahan will begin a new role in District 87 as the district's teaching and learning coordinator and Title I facilitator starting July 1.
District 87 Superintendent Dr. David Larson said Monday Hanrahan's new position fits her professional aspirations.
"It's an asset for us to have such an experienced leader who knows the district," Larson said. "...(We're) looking forward to integrating her on the team."
Mastrodimos worked as a department chair for the career and technical education department at Downers Grove North High School before she was assistant principal at Glenbard South for two years, according to Downers Grove Patch.
