Glen Ellyn Gets Federal Funds to Fight Beetles

Glen Ellyn is one of 58 communities in Illinois who will receive federal funds to replace trees infested with Emerald Ash Borer.

 

The Village of Glen Ellyn is one of 58 communities in Chicago who will be getting a little extra help with their bug problem. The program will help replace trees infested with the Emerald Ash Borer and plant news trees in their place.

Triblocal reports the village will get an additional $20,000 for its tree replacement program.
