Okay. Great kids' menu, but those items not found on main menu! Bread is extra and pasta dish doesn't include a soup or salad like at the other Italian restaurants in area.

Fabulous addition to the area, family friendly but also a great bar with numerous choices for the craft beer lover and over 30 wine choices by the glass. We felt relaxed and enjoyed the contemporary atmosphere. There's a "have some fun" vibe going on here and the high quality food makes it a great experience too. We will be back soon for the watermelon and heirloom tomato salad, the Italian bean dip, the zucchini fries and any of the flatbread pizzas.

I'm sure we'll go. It looks great. But, really? Yet another Italian restaurant?

S.K.,

There sure are a lot of Italian restaurants! And while we love them, fortunately for you, flour + wine is Contemporary American fare. Phew! You can glimpse the menu at the flour + wine's Facebook page at

I'm not really sure if you would call it an Italian restaurant. It's perfect for catching up with friends over appetizers (small plates) and wine. I went to Gratto a few times with my family before it closed and it was OK. Flour + Wine definitely has a different vibe to it. During these past few weekends, I've seen a late-night crowd at F+W, which wasn't the case at Gratto.

Went the first day they were open with some gal friends - had the Pancetta-Arugula Pizza & Italian bean dip with wine - WOW!!! Great tasting and the atmosphere was delightfully friendly. Plan to bring other friends for sure.
