Another county committee will review College of DuPage's long-term development plan Tuesday afternoon before voting on a recommendation to send to the DuPage County Board. 

Before the proposed plans made it to the development committee, the zoning board of appeals reviewed the plan and voted 7-0 against giving College of DuPage the green light for the entire project. Instead, the commissioners recommend that the college seek approval for each individual building, according to the Daily Herald reports. 

College officials were hoping for approval for the entire project, which would add nearly 734,000 square feet of new buildings to the 273-acre campus.
