Registration Now Open for Winter Session at B.R. Ryall YMCA

B.R. Ryall YMCA’s Winter Registration is open to the community. From Winter Adventures Camp to Youth Basketball Leagues to the Y Weight Challege, Aqua Zumba, Self Defense and more, there’s something for everyone at the Y this Winter. Winter Adventures Camp runs during kids’ Winter Break while the Winter 1 Session starts January 7.

Keep your kids busy while school is out on break with our Winter Adventures Camp. Winter Adventures is open to children in grades 1-5 and Winter Adventures Teen Style is open to grades 6-8. Kids will enjoy themed days and activities, sports, games, crafts, movies, field trips and more. It’s an opportunity to keep busy, try new things and make new friends. B.R. Ryall YMCA also has a full-time preschool and half-day kindergarten with spots open for new participants.

Winter YBL, or Youth Basketball League, begins January 12. YBL is about more than just playing a game. It’s a values based league for boys and girls in grades K-4. Trey Goss, Sports Director at the B.R. Ryall YMCA says, “whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to play a sport or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.”

The Y is more than just kid stuff. B.R. Ryall YMCA offers a variety of programs for adults. Back by popular demand, January will be the start of the 8-week Y Weight Challenge. “It’s the perfect time to lose those extra pounds and get into a healthy routine for the new year that will help you live your best life,” said Megan Schici, Health and Wellness Manager at B.R. Ryall YMCA. The Y also offers adults Self Defense, Racquetball Flex Leagues, Personal Training, Group Exercise and more.

Good things come together at the B.R. Ryall YMCA. It’s a place to nurture your own well-being and let your kids’ creativity flourish. Little ones build skills and self-esteem and people connect while strengthening body and mind. The Y offers everything from weights and fitness equipment to improve well-being, to kids programs that nurture their potential through learning and play.
