Volunteers attend training sessions and are paired with experienced docents who guide visitors through the museum on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons. Some additional tours are arranged by special appointments. Tours are also given of the tavern museum during special events such as Tavern Day on the last Sunday in September and during the annual Holiday Candlelight Tours on the Friday following Thanksgiving.
