Proceeds Benefit Kiwanis Club of Central DuPage and Metropolitan Family Services DuPage

Sign up for a great day of golf benefitting outstanding DuPage charities. Kiwanis Club of Central DuPage is holding its 6th Annual Charity Golf Outing, Friday, Sept. 14, at the Prairie Landing Golf Club, 2325 Longest Drive in West Chicago. Proceeds will benefit Kiwanis, Metropolitan Family Services DuPage and Metropolitan’s Treasure House Resale Shop in Glen Ellyn.

Golfers will have the chance to win fantastic prizes, such as $25,000 for a Hole-in-One on a select hole. Other prizes for select holes include winner’s choice of a Cleveland set of irons, a Kindle Fire and a $500 Visa gift card. There also will be prizes awarded for closest to pin and longest drive (male and female), and first place gross and net foursomes.

The 18-hole player’s fee is $160 and includes all fees, lunch, a $50 gift card to 100thingstobuy.com, a sleeve of golf balls and more.

"This annual event helps Kiwanis Club of Central DuPage generate funds to pay for the coming years activities,” said Kiwanis’ Phillip Hartweg. “Proceeds also benefit Metropolitan Family Services DuPage, a leading provider of human services for low-income families throughout DuPage County, and Metropolitan’s Treasure House resale shop in Glen Ellyn. This is such a great event. Come on out and join in the fun for a good cause."

Bag Drop and Registration begin at 6:30 a.m., followed by the Shotgun Start at 8 a.m. Lunch, raffles and prizes will be presented at noon.

Players can register with a foursome or Kiwanis will pair individuals with a group. To register or for more information, including details about sponsorship opportunities, visit www.centraldupagekiwanis.org or call Phillip Hartweg at 630-469-8166.
