Four Berry Pie Featured at Glen Ellyn Historical Society’s July 15 Bake Sale
On Friday, July 15, the Glen Ellyn Historical Society opens their oven doors for the first Bake Sale of the 2011 season at the Glen Ellyn Farmers Market. The featured pie this year is a four berry pie that is the favorite of the JP Anderson family in Glen Ellyn. The Anderson’s moved to Glen Ellyn from Florida in March of 2008. The family has entered into Glen Ellyn life with enthusiasm and not only are members of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, but also Newcomers and Sarah was a member of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce.
The book club that Sarah belongs to, “Members Only Book Club,” enjoys experimenting with recipes as well as enjoying books. She is in the middle of compiling a cookbook for the club that includes favorite recipes from the members, recipes for entertaining, and recipes that are sure winners for family gatherings.
The Glen Ellyn Historical Society Bake Sale will be featuring the Anderson’s favorite dessert at the Friday, July 15 Bake Sale in the Glen Ellyn Farmers Market.
