D87 To Host Distinguished Service Awards Ceremony

The heart and soul of Glenbard Township High School District 87 can be found in the people who work with students. Every day, they give of themselves in extraordinary ways to help all students succeed.

District 87 will honor 18 of these charismatic individuals when it presents the Distinguished Service Awards Ceremony on Monday, March 19, at Glenbard North High School, 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream.

The Distinguished Service Awards honor those people who go above and beyond the call of duty. The awards are presented in a variety of categories.  Distinguished Service Award recipients for 2012 include:  Certified: Monica Clark, Kevin Coon, Kathleen Deist, Kevin Erday, Kathleen Faber, Jean Karris, Peter Mastandrea and Jessica Walters.

Non-certified: Roberta Crowe, Patricia Little, Bob Verisario, David Wolfe and Debbie Zartmann; Administrator: Linda Oberg; Community partner: Matthew Rudelich; Andy Frain: Darlene Meglio; and GCA/Service Employees International Union (SEIU): Sean Gordon and Nestor Sosa. 

Glenbard District 87 is proud to recognize these members of the Glenbard team who have given exceptional service to students and the school district. They have consistently inspired and empowered students to succeed. They embody Glenbard District 87’s tradition of excellence.
